ARMY OF DEFENSE – NOT ONLY FOR DEFENSE

NKR Minister of Defense, AD Commander, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan told: “When planning the next training year, AD first of all considers enemy’s probable actions character which includes not only defense actions planning but also their engineering support planning, first line and defensive belt equipment, acquisition of material-technical means and most important – staff’s high level training.

We don’t hide that although our army is named Army of Defense but it is not created for defense only. The last years as a result of the AD reforms, subunits are formed which are able to attack before military actions or stop the enemy during military actions and launch a counteroffensive compelling the outcome which is advantageous for us”.
