RA ARMED FORCES CAN’T HAVE UNCOMPLETED MISSIONS

After 6-month interval the RA AF renewed their peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. In Zvartnots airport a solemn ceremony to see off the peacekeeping brigade took place, and 1st Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, 1st Deputy Head of RA AF GS Enrico Apriamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA in RA John Heffern were present.

It will be recalled that the Armenian peacekeeping sub-unit which was fulfilling its peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, temporarily was withdrawn from Kosovo in February, 2012 due to the reduction of the forces participating in the mission.
Our peacekeepers will do patrolling, during mass disturbances will be responsible for the crowd management, guard accompaniment, security of religious and historical-cultural sites.
