GREETING SPEECH OF RA DEFENSE MINISTER SEYRAN OHANAYN TO MILITARY INSTITUTE GRADUATES

More than a decade we experience the same great joy – we have established higher military educational institutions. In various command sections thousands of officers – those institutions graduates, equally share responsibilities of RA AF authorities: motorized infantry, artillerists, tankmen, agents. In the army they hold almost all the commanding posts.

Current geopolitical challenges, Karabakh problem’s just settlement’s pull-off and Azerbaijan’s warlike statements dictate us to permanently develop and improve defense system’s achievements.

I assure you, army’s authorities have made a clear decision – “Address the needs of young officers”. I.e. young officer’s army activities must remain in the centre of Defense Ministry’s attention both in case of social problems settlement support and assessment and promotion for honest service.

I express my gratitude to all the professors-teachers staff of the Military Institute after RA national hero Vazgen Sargsyan for the preparation of the next in turn group of officers for the Armenian army.
