PARTS OF ARMENIAN MILITARY HISTORY

In Matenadaran – Institute of Ancient Manuscripts after Mesrop Mashtots historian-museologist Rafael Tadevosyan’s book “Parts of Armenian Military History (19-20cent.)” and 17 military-historical maps (from the 1826-28 Russian-Persian war till Shoushi liberation) presentation was held. High-ranking militarymen, historians, former Artsakh war fighters, teachers, students were present on the presentation.

YSU History Faculty Dean Edik Minasyan, Public Council Chairman, 1st Prime Minister, 1992-93 Defense Minister Vazgen Manoukyan, Artsakh Hero Lt. General Arkadiy Ter-Tadevosyan gave speeches. Congratulating the author they mentioned the huge work done by him and decided to solicit the state organs to make these book and maps as compulsory educational discipline in schools and universities.
