DEFENSE MINISTER: “STUDENTS ARE A POWERFUL FORCE”

On the occasion of International Students Day on November 16th the Yerevan State University welcomed Defense Minister S.Ohanyan. Before the meeting with students the Minister accompanied by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan took part in the opening ceremony of the auditoria named after perished fighters of Artsakh war – YSU Law faculty students Ara Avanesyan, Eduard Avagyan, Sargis Khojoyan and Tigran Petrosyan. The fighters’ relatives were also present.

In the end of the meeting some YSU teachers and students were awarded with medals “Drastamat Kanayan” and “Vazgen Sargsyan” and Certificates for the effective cooperation with RA AF and their contribution in military- patriotic upbringing of youth. S.Ohanyan presented YSU with his book “Chronicle of Armenian Army’s 20 years”.
