FINAL RESULTS OF PRIORITY TASKS AND REALIZED FUNCTIONS OF RA MOD IN 2012

According to the Armenian Government’s decision of August 9, 2012, the priority tasks of the Defense Ministry were recognized the introduction of military education standards and presentation of state program on military-industrial complex development state program.

On the first task on the decision of the RA Government the military education concept and the road map of officers’ staff preparation are confirmed. On their basis state standards are developed for «Bachelor of military management» and «Master of military management» qualifications. These standards are approved also by education and science Minister.

On the second task agreements on armaments, military technology renovation, arms production have been signed with some Scientific-research institutions and centres of National Academy of Sciences.

According to the Armenian Government’s decision of August 9, 2012, the Defense Ministry took obligation to present to the Government projects «On amendments in the RA «Law on Education»», «On amendments in the RA «Law on graduation and post-graduation»», as well as project of RA President’s order «On confirmation of state program on RA military-industrial complex development for 2012-2015». Project laws on military education got the Government’s approval and were sent to the National Assembly, and President’s order’s project was presented to the Government.
