The regiment under the command of Colonel Karen Serobyan passed a glorious battle path.

– The previous education year the regiment completed with the mark “excellent” and was recognized the best in the military unit, – tells the commander. – I’d mention that this is the merit of the previous commander but I am happy because the staff is inspired with the success.

Our regiment is motorized infantry and has subunits in all the arms. The summer education stage we started with 3-day tactical-combatant trainings which were followed by sections’ harmonization. The weather was favorable, so we could implement on time the functions stipulated by the program.

For the infantry battalion we organized camp training sessions. Artillery division D-30 under the command of Major A.Mkrtchyan did a good job. Combat shooting was managed by me. During the competition among artillerists of the military unit our artillerists got 70% of awards. However on my assessment the best unit is the armoured battalion.

Training centre’s possibilities allow carry out complete practical trainings on driving and combat shooting. Owing to them the staff acquires essential skills and knowledge. By the way, last April Minister Ohanyan was watching the battalion’s exercises and gave applause to our tankmen.
