– You mentioned that Armenian-Russian relations have strategic ally character. How it shows itself?

– Relations with Russian Federation started in 1992, when diplomatic relations were established between RA and RF, afterwards agreements were signed: on March 16, 1995 “On Russian military base on the territory of RA” and on August 29, 1997 “On friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance” which gave strategic character to this relations. During last 20 years many agreements have been signed between our countries, a united grouping of Armenian-Russian troops have been created, high-level meetings periodically are being held, joint planning in some spheres is realized which shows the strategic character of Armenian-Russian ally partnership and both sides vigour to continue cooperation on a long-term basis.
