CORRECT DIAGNOSIS IS THE PRECONDITION OF EFFECTIVE TREATMENT

It is not a secret that effective treatment of any illness largely depends on quick, correct and on time diagnosis. We visited Radiology Department of Yerevan Central Military Hospital.

Department Head, Lt. Colonel of medical service Alexander Danielyan tells:

– Our medical “arsenal” rather replenished with the newest equipment which has high diagnostic qualities and maximum security from radiation.

We have 2 Siemens AXIOM R100 – stationary multi-functional digital roentgen diagnostic equipment which give possibility to realize fluoroscopic, radiographic studies, including roentgen-contrast and roentgen-tomographic ones. With ORTOPHOS XG 3D/Ceph equipment we make large-scale roentgen studies of maxillofacial parts, as well as TV X-ray studies of the skull, cervical spine, and wrist area.

Recently we have obtained super-modern 128-layer tomographic equipment of new generation of Toshiba brand. With its help it would be possible to study the whole body from head till toes just with one press of a button. Our department is one of the best, most modern radiology department in the city, – says A.Danielyan.
