Interview with Head of Central communication hub, Colonel G.Alexanyan.

– The central communication hub was created in 2008. Though during the last 5 years the limits of regiment’s functions expanded, however the tasks have remained the same – through data center to provide command staff with telephone, radio relay, long-distance communication.

The technique used is modern, digital, complies with all applicable standards. Besides, we have also analog technology, since in certain cases the stations of such communication have their advantages. Digital devices provide quality, and the analog ones – more stable communication. For example, during joint exercises with NATO our specialists worked with radio-stations Harris, connected with computers.

Our communication is completely protected.

Our sphere is developing all the time. Soon we’ll get new, more powerful radios.

With confidence I can say, that our armed forces are provided with quality and fast communication.
