MINSK AUDIENCE WAS EXCITED BY SEVAK AND DUDUK

From 9 to 14 August the 6th international competition among servicemen of friendly armies “Commonwealth Warrior” was held in Minsk. Here the Armenian delegation participated with honour and high results winning 2 bronze and 1 silver medal in 3 nominations.

16 representatives from Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan were presented in the festival. Jr. Sergeant Davit Hovanisyan, student of RA MoD Military Institute after V.Sargsyan Youra Manasyan, student of RF MoD Ryazan Command institute of airborne troops Arthur Hovanisyan, contract-srervicewoman Alina Sargsyan performed with honour under the flag of Armenia. They competed in 5 categories: erudite, athletics, skills, sniper skills and cultural program.

During the festival, members of the Armenian delegation had the opportunity to know more about Belarus, got acquainted with its historical and cultural heritage.

It should be noted that by the results of obtained points from all nominations winner of the championship was recognized Jr. Sergeant Yuri Strigankov from Belarus, 2nd and 3rd place were taken by Jr. Sergeant Dmitriy Mozhayev and soldier Natalya Suganova from Russia.
