MARGARITA KHACHATRYAN: “MY TIME TO HELP THE SOLDIER”

Margarita Khachatryan a thousand times visited military units, based on the front-line, reached the most difficult combat stations. You can see her in the Defense Minister’s office and in the barracks of the most far military unit.

And why this woman is trusted both by the Defense Minister, and a simple soldier?

“… Once I dreamed of my dead son, who said – make sure that no more mother wears black. I resurrected from the words of my son. He ordered me to live and said – in the name of what. I now fulfill his desire – I dedicated my life to the army and soldiers. Every soldier looks at me with eyes of my Arsen. This is my only consolation. Instead of saying – my life, I say – my time to help the soldier. I have nothing more valuable than the army.

Have you seen how I applaud when the soldiers dance? My joy is a smiling soldier, his good mood. I calm down when I see that the soldier is fed, warmly dressed and healthy.

Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan was able to turn a soldier into the property of society, to make it clear that the core of the army is a soldier, and commanders must first of all think and care about him. And in the army their attitude to the conscripts has been changed.

I believe Seyran Ohanyan, in his loyalty to the state, the people and the army. I saw him suffer for a dead soldier. I saw his efforts to make the army better and see the result.
