THE FAMILY IS THE BASIS OF THE ARMY, THE STATE

At the initiative of the NKR Defense Army Command and with the assistance of RA Ministry of Defense, in 2014 about 1500 servicemen, who manifested themselves well during the service, got a surprise vacation. In all regional centers of Armenia meetings were held with parents and the NKR AoD command. The goal of these activities is to strengthen the relationship between the army and society. A series of such events of this year was completed in the capital of Armenia.

At the solemn meeting with parents of servicemen Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, NKR Defense Minister, Commander AO Movses Hakobyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan were present.

For close cooperation between the cities of Yerevan and Stepanakert and for the organization of activities on high-level under the slogan “Army is our house, our fortress!”, on the decision of the Yerevan Mayor, NKR Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan and NKR AoD Deputy Commander on Human Resources Vardan Balayan were awarded with gold medals.
