“SAFETY DAY”: AN EVENT IN THE ARTILLERY MILITARY UNITS

The RA Armed Forces concept on safety of military service (SMS) says: “Soldier’s safety during the performance of service obligations – that is his protection against the effects of hazardous and harmful factors.”

With RA Defense Minister’s Message “Commander – soldier’s senior fellow ” since 2010 it is put into practice the idea of comprehensive studies of SMS. According to the request of the order of the Minister of Defense, in each half of the year 2 times, and if necessary – one additional time, comprehensive lessons on “meet the safety requirements” are carried out consisting of at least seven places.

A similar event was held on August 4 in a military unit under the Central Government of AF Department of Missile Troops and Artillery.

It should recalled that the work to ensure the safety of military service, one component of which is the instruction of personnel, should never carry a secondary character, and should become an everyday creative work, and then will prevent many cases of fatalities and injuries.
