SUMMER EDUCATIONAL YEAR OF 2015 HAS LAUNCHED

On August 18, in the military units of the armed forces with the solemnity was given the start of summer training phase. At solemn meetings the administrative board of Defense Ministry, Armed Forces, General Staff, headed by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan was present.

Minister Ohanyan handed the combat flag to one of the artillery military units of the 3rd Army Corps. The unit commander Ruben Gasparyan assured that he will continue to do everything possible to continually improve combat readiness and capability. The spiritual leader of the Tavush Diocese Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, Chairman of the Veterans’ Union Levon Varanyan and others also made speeches.

In one of the AF aviation regiments, when the start of training stage coincided with the anniversary of the formation of air transport squadron, Minister Ohanyan in his speech stressed the importance of the role of air transport squadron in transporting military cargoes.

After the completion of the solemn meeting for the implementation of transportation of goods and weapons on high level, participation in various international events, as well as significant contribution in building the army, on the orders of the Minister of Defence a series of militaries were awarded diplomas, departmental medals and cash prizes.
