AIR DEFENSE FORCES ARE ABLE TO FULLY PERFORM COMBAT MISSION

Interview with the commander of the military unit, Lieutenant Colonel Karen Darbinyan

– The main task of our military is to protect the part of the airspace of Armenia and NKR. Forces and means of the military are able to fully carry out their tasks.

As a result of the final control checks of the military commission, the unit was rated satisfactory. The same assessment was awarded as a result of inspections of high command. During unannounced inspections, the division under the command of Lieutenant Colonel A. Avetisyan was recognized as the best, which is also the best in the air defense system of the Armed Forces.

There are many who want to serve in the air defense troops. We conduct a selection, check the knowledge of the statute, take tests in physical preparation and drill. But most importantly, of course, is radio-technical knowledge.

Summer training phase has already started, during which we expect a serious test. The sub-unit of our division will take part in tactical exercises “Combat Commonwealth-2015”, which will take place in the firing range of the Russian Federation. And in September, there will be operational and tactical exercises, which will be attended by our units.
