I CHOSE MYSELF THE PATH OF MY LIFE

I graduated with Honors from the Faculty of Economics and Management of companies in the communications sector of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, then did 1-year officers’ training courses at the Military Aviation Institute after Armenak Khanperyants, and in 2013 I was appointed to serve in the military unit under the command of Lieutenant Colonel K.Darbinyan.

I have already served 2 years, the last year remains, but I have already decided to extend my contract. I made this decision because of the battalion command, warm situation, and finally, the conditions of service.

Our division is like a big, organized military family. Here there are warm human relations, military discipline. And they all have one main purpose – the protection of the airspace of our country.

I direct the Department of training, I am responsible for the execution of the combat readiness of the personnel, my duty is the continuous combat support of equipment, devices.

Warm human relationships connect me with my military unit. For example, so there were circumstances that the last 3 years I celebrated my birthday away from home: 22 years – at the Military Aviation Institute, 23- and 24-years here, in the unit, with my military family. I assure you, I did not feel a lack of love and sincerity, around modest table reigned warm and joyful atmosphere. When I told this to my mother, she said: – Do not worry, my boy, without you, we are sad, but what to do, you yourself chose the profession of the military, your life path, so it should be.

That’s why I want to extend my contract for several years and continue to serve in the Armenian armed forces.
