IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY CITIZEN
Dear soldiers, we owe you that we have a free homeland, and we shall be constantly by your side!
Armenian-American philanthropist Kathy Kasarjian is in her homeland. She came to develop a joint program with the “Armenian Association of military doctors” to provide social and medical support for servicemen wounded in protecting the country’s borders.
– My grandfather Gevorg Keledzhyan was one of the heroes of Musaler. My parents migrated to Beirut, they had eight children, I am the youngest. My father always said, whatever you do, do with love, give to the needy. He loved his homeland very much, saying – we have to live with the desire to strengthen Armenia.
After Spitak earthquake we sent 15 thousand woolen jackets to Armenia. My daughter Rita has created a fund to help Armenia. Armenia is our home, now we are not living there, but have to make our house persistent, so that we do not remain homeless. We live in San Diego, but our view is always directed toward Armenia.
When chairwoman of the “Armenian Association of military doctors” Ruzanna Khachatrian came to the US and told about the problems, I realized that the wounded during the defense of the borders of the Fatherland soldiers need our support. Sometimes it is necessary to arrange their treatment in other countries. We must help them, it is our moral duty.
