PERMITTED TO FLY

In the fourth building of the Central Clinical Military Hospital is the Branch of flight examination, which is the only one of its kind in the medical institutions of Armenia.

Head of the Department is Major Nuneh Ghambaryan.

– Branch of flight examination is the second therapeutic department of the hospital, – says Major Ghambaryan. – Here in the hospital civilians, family members of pilots, special forces soldiers, members of the Federation of parachuting are being treated. However, our mission is the medical examination of pilots and cadets.

Yet in Soviet times, when we were part of the Transcaucasian district, flight examination was carried out in Tbilisi. After independence we had created our own department.
