Interview with commander of a military corps Colonel Tigran Parvanyan

For  the army military corps the 2016 is declared the “Year of the final formation and strengthening” under the slogan “Commander with rich knowledge is the key to perform combat missions.”

– It is surprising, but as the most important part of the combat capability of the officer I will mention the social and psychological security. If we want the officer to be mentally calm and able to entirely devote himself to the service, his family should be financially stable and secure. We do not talk about luxury, but about the elementary things necessary for life.

Speciality of a military is very hard – both physically and psychologically. At the same time it is a very noble and honorable profession. 21-22-year-old officer is given a high salary by the state, house rent, free medical care. Our task is to stand next to the young officer, to assist him during difficulties.

The officers, who serve far from settlements, earn higher wages than their colleagues, receive additional food, are provided with accommodation, a bus carries their children every day free of charge to the nearby village school and brings back.

Period specified by border service law, is followed by a relatively easy service, and in case of high performance – service promotion. Certain social benefits – health, housing, as well as relatively high pension. Perhaps, among all  professions military are one of the most defended ones with a guaranteed future.

Army is the place, where guys gather from different layers of the population. Army gives them the opportunity to know and understand each other. And the officer’s task is to make sure that they see in each other only good, to be able to communicate, to show their human qualities, be more tolerant, to become “theirs”.

Now we have reached the point that the soldier has no worries, all his domestic problems are solved.
