NUMEROUS AWARDS AND ONE RECEIVER – ARMENIAN SOLDIER

We are in school no. 194, which bears the name of the hero of the Artsakh war Armen Hovhannisyan.

On the event dedicated to the army and the soldier, the prize “The wealth of the Year” was awarded to the Armenian soldier and the Armenian army. Award received Advisor to the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muraz Sargsyan.

The award “Pride of the Year” is awarded to the commander of one of the best military units, Colonel Albert Baghdasarian.

“Hero of the Year” is the Armenian mother, who gave birth to the heroic soldiers. The prize is awarded to Armen Hovhannisyan’s mother, Laura.

Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan in his speech mentioned the important role of schools in educating an ideologically strong soldier: “After the Franco-Prussian War, chancellor Bismarck was asked – How did you bring up these brave soldiers? To which he replied – ask teachers. The country is strong and powerful, not only by weapons, but also by a pen, a song, knowledge. Everyone should be loyal to his cause.”

School Director Nuneh Muradyan was repeatedly awarded departmental medals for her patriotic activity.

The event was also attended by the soldiers of the military unit, under the command of Colonel Artur Baghdasaryan.
