These days there was an attack on one of the military recruiting offices. On that day, Lieutenant Colonel Mickayel Mirzoyan, head of the third department, was on duty. He is a participant of the Afghan and Artsakh wars, judo fighter, his 3 brothers also fought in Artsakh. If not for his courage, the criminals could steal 14mln AMD intended for the victims’ families and pensioners. At the cost of his life he protected the state money, he resisted the offender, who put a knife to his throat.

– Here the question is not about the money. If people would have said that the military, Colonel, with fear opened the safe in front of a criminal, I would have died of shame.

According to the investigator of the 4th garrison investigation department of the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Grigoryan, the two suspects are already detained. They were charged under paragraphs 3 and 4 of Part 2 of Art. 17 of the Criminal Code.
