FEAT OF ARMENIAN SOLDIER

Ranker Arsen Khachatryan briefly presents some details of the fight on the night of April 2nd.

As usual we were conducting combat duty, when we noticed the approach of sabotage-reconnaissance group of the enemy. Our 9 soldiers met them with fire. The platoon commander, Senior Lieutenant Meruzhan Stepanyan, who coolly led the battle of his platoon, noticed that the enemy infantry comes on a new attack. The conscripts again replied with fire. Particularly stood out for their bravery rankers Hrayr Baghdasaryan and Victor Yuzikhovich. Hrayr shoots down enemy’s helicopter.

During the long battle ammunition of our soldiers finished, and the enemy penetrates our position. The near fight starts. Two of the soldiers throw grenades at the enemy, providing a retreat for companions. After some time, Arsen Khachatryan sees that all his comrades were killed. When leaving, Arsen notices a wounded and removes him from the battlefield. After some time, he sees another wounded man who was in serious condition. Arsen removes him from the danger zone.

The commander of the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Darbinyan comes in the barracks, and says: “My eagles, I’m going to release the lost position. Who will go with me? ”

And as one, all stand up next to the commander, and together going to counter-attack save their position…
