ONE ROCKET – ONE PLANE

Colonel T.Aslikyan’s Anti-air defense regiment’s responsibility is very high in ensuring the security of the republic’s air space. On the order of the RA President Serge Sargsyan the last 1-2 years in all the divisions of the regiment great construction work has been done, C-300 the best systems have been installed.

Recently Colonel Armen Vardanyan, Head of AAD Department visited the division under the command of Lt. Colonel Stepan Kyokhvyants.

– Dear brothers-in-arms, – said A.Vardanyan, – the huge work which has been done is the best proof of the special attitude to the AAD troops. Events, wars in the world prove that the country, which does not have battle-worthy AAD system, is doomed. Strong anti-air defense is the guarantee of peace and security. Our country’s authorities, Defense Minister S.Ohanyan do everything to make this arms the best in the region. Believe me, when the enemy feels that its aviation can penetrate our territory with impunity, they’ll attack. That’s why we have to work day and night. Our motto is: one released rocket – one destroyed airplane of the enemy.
