AVIATION INSTITUTE’S GIRL-STUDENTS

Conscientious and proud, free and resolute. This is how Military-aviation Institute’s Deputy Head Lt.Colonel Davit Alexanyan described girl-students who were admitted this year – Ani Zhamharyan, Tatevik Rostomyan and Emma Khachatryan.

This year for the first time RA MoD announced about enrolment of females to the military-educational institutions. As D.Alexanyan mentioned, there were many applications but we made very strict selection. “The girls are university graduates. Here they’ll pass one-year officers’ courses, get signaller’s qualification and serve in the armed forces. The girls make good progress, they are disciplined, have a big potential”.

Platoon commander Captain Arthur Matinyan also welcomes the girls’ decision. “The girls of our platoon don’t differ from boys. They are persistent, have willingness to study, they have big potential”.
