FEARLESS NURSE

On December 7th, the day of 55th anniversary of nurse Karineh Gevorgyan, participant of Artsakh liberation war against Azeri occupants, knight of 2nd level Battle Cross (posthumously), the students of Military-Medical Faculty, Yerevan State Medical University after M.Heratsi, Karineh’s comrades-in-arms, her family members visited her grave in Yerablour Pantheon (Three Hills) and put flowers on it grave.

Karineh perished in 1993 giving first medical aid to a wounded soldier. She got a wound from a shell explosion but continued her work. But the second explosion took the life of the fearless woman…
