Army is the force that is trusted by the people and ready to support, in the name of sustainable development and peaceful coexistence of our state.
2015-2016 educational year for us was marked by the fact that we have proclaimed it as the year of patriotism. For us patriotic and military-patriotic education is very important. For that we planned appropriate activities and lessons, competitions and meetings, conversations and stories, films and educational materials on outstanding people and our heroes, fighters for liberation.

On October 1, at the administrative complex of Defense Ministry a meeting of heads of relevant departments of the defense system of Armenia with the media representatives was held.

The Assyrians among the population of Armenia are ranked third among ethnic minorities, after the Yezidis and Russians. In Armenia there are Assyrian communities in Dvin, Arzni, Dimitrov New Artagers.
The biggest Assyrian community is in Northern Iraq. There are communities also in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey.
