Recently, a group of 1000 people from the defenders of the country-Yerkrapah visited all the military units of Artsakh, battle points. After summarizing this unique pilgrimage, chairman of Yerkrapah – General Manvel Grigoryan initiated the visit of three generations to the bordering with Azerbaijan military units and posts of Armenia.
Hundreds of teenagers, young people and the older generation had meetings with residents of Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Tavush and other areas, with the soldiers who were serving in combat positions.

Briefing about the security requirements is an integral part of military training to meet the requirements of safety and periodically is carried out during military service.
Taking as a basis the order of the RA Defense Minister of 2011, “Theoretical and practical complex training on security of military service with all personnel of the military unit” are held in each half year twice.
One of the trainings is carried out in the preparatory stage of the half-year under the direction of the unit commander.
Given the security risks of military service, on the decision of the commander each month classes on “Compliance with safety regulations” can be conducted.

Recently we have a lot of pride in our army, that it is an established structure. However, it seems to me that we very much look forward to the army. Developing societies ought to think about the harmony of all spheres. It’s not possible to consider the army as established structure if one or another branch of the society is poorly developed. Every day I become an eyewitness to the glorification of the criminal world, thieves’ morals in the series, plays, books. How it happened that our people suddenly put all these at the very top of propaganda? My childhood was spent in the postwar years, when the conditions were much more difficult, but one of thousands chose this path. And no one boasted such people. On the contrary, they said – how did it happen that he turned away from the true path? Who is the hero of our time? Time creates a hero! If someone puts morals at the heart of his activities, he becomes a hero of our time, because today there is a demand for morality.

The shortcomings characteristic of our society, as well as shortcomings in the army come from our wrong cultural policy. We must realize that culture is not fun, but a powerful means of education, the foundation of morality and has a single purpose – to educate society. Each of our today’s mistakes tomorrow will lead to sad consequences, and today we are witnessing this.

The Ministry of Defence together with the schools conducts systematic work towards the education of the younger generation.
In the Yerevan school No.196 after Ashot Navasardyan all the holidays are observed, beautiful events are organized for glorification of national heroes, fighters-liberators and relatives of perished warriors are also in the focus.

RF 1st Deputy Defense Minister, Army General Arkadiy Bakhin in Gyumri presented RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan the progress of the work done by the Commission of the RF Defense Ministry in the direction of disclosure of the crime which happened yesterday. Army General Bakhin expressed readiness to continue cooperation with RA law enforcement agencies in the implementation of internal service investigation, which is being conducted in the 102 RF military base in the framework of the criminal case against the detained soldier Valeriy Permyakov.

Pursuant to the New Year’s message- call 2014 of Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan “Army is our house, our fortress”, on December 20 a visit was organized to a military unit of the 3rd Army Corps on the initiative of Chairman of the military-patriotic NGO “Tigran The Great” Koryun Ghumashyan.
