“Our impact will be unexpected and too painful” – these words of NKR Defense Minister – Commander of Army of Defense, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan which were chosen as a title for his interview, in the days when helicopter Mi-24 of the AoD AF was shot down by the Azerbaijani forces, not only became the most quoted, but also appeared on the screens of local and world TV channels, in newspapers, on the lips of politicians.

What is the phenomenon of Margarita Khachatryan, also known as “Moroz” (Frost)? Why the President congratulates her on her birthday? Why do the soldiers call her “Myrick” – mother?
Margarita Khachatryan a thousand times visited military units, based on the front-line, reached the most difficult combat stations. You can see her in the Defense Minister’s office and in the barracks of the most far military unit.
And why this woman is trusted both by the Defense Minister, and a simple soldier?

From the point of view of protection of human rights in the armed forces there is number of problems, which are caused by the specifics of military service. It is primarily on the legal regulation between servicemen. On the other hand it is necessary to ascertain the low level of legal awareness among the military and the lack of legal knowledge. A desire to restore this level will make the military more secure.

Today great importance is given to military and combat knowledge.
Patriotic-youth centre “Gevorgyan school of martial arts” (fonder – liberation soldier Gevorg Gevorgyan) is from those structures, which activity is directed to military, combat and patriotic education. Recently this center conducted a 4-day course on “Military-fighting skills” in Tsakhkadzor, which was attended by about 30 young people. The program was implemented with assistance of Sports and youth affairs ministry.

From 15 to 17 October, supported by the Foundation for Assistance to the Opera and the Ministry of Defense, soloists and symphony orchestra gave concerts in the border military units of Tavoush region. It was the initiative of the Opera Directorate and the group “Tigran Davtyan and co.” Concerts were led by the artistic director and chief conductor of the Opera house, Karen Durgaryan. Although these were the first concerts of artists in the army, but they intend to continue this tradition.

On October 10th in the RA MoD administrative complex the 1st international conference on “Current problems of military medicine” was held. It was organised by RA Armed Forces Military-medicine department, Medicine care service of Rescue department of Ministry of Emergency Situations, State medical university after M.Heratsi and Armenian association of military doctors.

And if someone says he loves God but hates his brother – it is a lie, because who does not love his brother whom he sees, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
