Artillery of the Armenian army was created and formed in difficult conditions. Armenian artillery on the battlefield showed indescribable courage, bravery, will and with this further strengthened the fighting capacity of the army. One of those was dedicated military Garunik Khachatur Abgaryan – Grad Garoun.

Vahagen Vardevanyan was born on December 27, 1996 in Yerevan. In 1990 in Shengavit district of Yerevan a group was formed headed by Hovik Geroyan, and Vahagen joins the group and participates in military operations.

The ancestors of warrior-liberator, Yezid by nationality Asya Khatoyan emigrated to Armenia from Bolsen in Osmanian Turkey. In 1918-1920 they participated in the Battle of Sardarapat. Sergey Hovsep Avagyants was born on April 6, 1957 in Yerevan, in the family of an officer of Naval Forces of the USSR. He graduated from the Black Sea Higher Naval School after P.Nakhimov, then studied at the Naval Academy after Admiral N.Kuznetsov and the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.
