Respected Mr.President!
I decided to write you, to a politician who has breathed new life to the principle of self-determination of peoples. Your word – “The peoples themselves have to decide the fate of their territories” – gave me (a survivor of 10 years in prison on death row, sentenced by Aliyev’s regime) and all Talysh people hope for the final victory of justice.
On April 24, in Yerevan and Istanbul parallel events were held: the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the parade of the Battle of Gallipoli. This year, the denial policy of the Turkish authorities came to a climax, they were forced to falsify even the world history, moving the date of the Battle of Gallipoli to April 24th. Apparently Ankara wanted to overshadow events in Armenia. However, the Turkish venture failed. Turkey did not consider that the international community is faithful to universal values, that memories of the Holocaust, genocides in Rwanda, Cambodia and others are still fresh. This “show” was attended by the leaders of those countries that have or do not want to spoil relations with Ankara, or at one time were the performers of such crimes.
Recently Armenian-Polish first joint military-industrial enterprise “Lyubava-Armenia” has been opened in Armenia.

In September 2010 RA MoD delegation participated in the military-industrial exhibition in the Polish city of Kielce, and in October, during the exhibition DEFENSYS 2010 in Greece a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the Armenian and Polish parties.
Recently emir of Sheikhan, leader of the world Yezidis Mir Tahsin Beg in an interview with Arabic television channel “Al Arabiya”, stated publicly that the Yezidi it is both – a religion, and a nation. He particularly said: “Iraq is our state, but we, Yezidis can’t return there any more and live in our native land, if, under the auspices of the United Nations, a special area for the Yezidis, Christians, Shabaks and other minorities will not be created.
We had originally planned by all means to pursue the interests of indigenous peoples of south-eastern Caucasus deprived of state, to preserve their culture, language, national identity and strengthen ethnic gene pool and we consistently implement our plans in this direction. Thanks to radio broadcasts, impetus was given to the process of establishing and strengthening national identity of the Talysh: within the Talysh extensive national discourse was formed, which led to the creation of the Talysh socio-political and cultural new organizations.
It is autumn, leaves fall down. However I speak about political late autumn of Azerbaijan. The same think also the intellectuals and political analysts of Baku stating that the end of this state structure approaches. And many of them predict severe political winter. They understand the inevitability of state structure’s change and try to pass the reality to people.
