Some young officers after a few years of service start thinking over – have they chosen their profession correctly? For such fellows we suggest a short self-analysis.
If your heart miss a bit when you hear the hymn of Armenia and see Armenian three-coloured flag, that means you have chosen your profession correctly, you had to become a serviceman. Material expression of serviceman’s ideals is the state symbols: combat flag, military uniform, weapon, awards etc. The serviceman can’t be indifferent to symbols.

The base of the national army’s intelligence service was set up 21 years ago. Today this arm is one of the most combat ready troops in our army.
The regiment under the command of Colonel Arsen Kotoyan conducts in-turn camping which this time were completed with demonstrative exercise on the occasion of their professional holiday.

I live with army, my day starts and ends with the army. I continue wearing military uniform, continue to serve my country… I live with my family. My son is a serviceman, my grandson Ishkhan (I named him on the honour of my brother who perished during the 2nd World War) will continue shift. I.e. I (my blood) would be with the army for a long time. I feel very well when I see activity in young servicemen. I become happy when I see that the guarantees of tomorrow’s powerful army forge today, in front of my eyes.

After Ilham Aliyev’s re-election series of interesting developments happened. After 2 days of CEC’s statement on election’s results the Constitutional Court confirmed them and the same day Aliyev’s inauguration took place in the Azerbaijan parliament. Such a haste is very comic. Azerbaijan’s CEC and CC didn’t study opposition’s complaints which they had to during 14 days. The ceremony of inauguration was conducted without participation of any foreign ambassador, diplomat or guest, it was not even aired on TV.

The President awarded the MOD servicemen below, in recognition of their courage and personal bravery manifested while carrying out their official duties:

Each young man serving in Karvachar speaks proudly about his regiment. Here all are friends and brothers. This is a real combat brotherhood. You assess the combat brotherhood of Armenian soldiers higher when you see the reality in the Azerbaijan army.
The enemy knows that the Armenian soldier would never attack first, would never open fire without any reason. That’s why sometimes they come out of shelter and with their each step try to provoke our soldiers.

I came to my Homeland. Came and said – I want to serve in Armenia. It was really a difficult and hard period. There was no army, everything was created from zero. I am a serviceman loving discipline, and here… bearded fellows around with different characters, mentality, education. However we all were united with one aim – to eliminate the enemy.
