On July 26-28 by the RA AF Spiritual Leadership organized 2-day courses on suicidal psychology and spiritual security headed by Vrtanes Bishop Abrahamyan in Artists Union’s House in Tsakhkadzor. Deputy commanders on upbringing, priests serving in the army and officers-psychologists participated in the courses.

Majority of the students of this call-up have graduation, others are students or graduates from schools. Their health is also normal. As a commander of a regiment which prepares important specialists for the army, I’d say that I am satisfied with the start of the educational process. The winter educational stage we completed with good results, and we are determined to achieve higher results in autumn.

Recently 2013 educational year’s 2nd quarter’s results were finalized in the corpus under the command of Colonel Tigran Parvanyan.
Corpus’s Deputy Commander on work with staff Colonel A.Hambartsumyan informed that in comparison with the same period of last year in the accountable regiments and sub-units extraordinary incidents and unwilling happenings significantly lessened.

On August 3rd in the Amateur and folk arts centre after Hovanes Sharambeyan an exhibition «Symphony of creation» was opened. Works of Fire preparation desk Head (Military Institute after V.Sargsyan) Colonel Sasun Makaryan and senior officer of RA AF Department of work with staff Lieutenant Colonel Soghomon Melikyan were presented.

On July 27, in the “Victory” Park of Yerevan a solemn ceremony was held dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the formation of the Military Institute after V.Sargsyan. Officers’ certificates were handed over to the graduates of the Military Institute after V.Sargsyan, Military-Aviation Institute after Marshal A.Khanperyants, Military-Medical Faculty of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.

On July 23 and 24 Defense Minister S.Ohanyan, RA AF GS Deputy Head Lieutenant General Baghmanyan and high-ranking officers visited few regiments.
The aims of the visit were: firsthand acquaintance with barrack life of servicemen, fulfillment of their service responsibilities, numerous construction work, meeting with unit and regiments staff.

On July 25 a draw was held for service place for the graduates of the Military Institute after V.Sargsyan, Military-Aviation Institute after Marshal A.Khanperyants, Military-Medical Faculty of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. Significant part of the graduates having high marks refused to participate in the draw and voluntarily chose the place of their future service sub-units of the Army of Defense, willing to take part in ensuring security of Artsakh people.
