Our case is different. We haven’t waged war on Turkey. So it has been a nationally elaborated genocide policy, the results of which exist to this day: considerable part of our fatherland is expropriated, our material, spiritual, and cultural values are destroyed, our relatives are killed. Turkey denies the fact of the genocide, thus distorting the historical truth. And what is more, since the Armenian Independence, Turkey has put into practice pressure and blocade against us and refuses to establish diplomatic relations, concludes an alliance with Azerbaijan in the issue of Kharabagh antagonism. It wrecked the Armenian enterprise to improve celations without preliminary terms.

The moral consequences of the genocide are much clearer. Personally I am against private solutions, such as insurance sums received from foreign banks and so on. The financial problems connected with the genocide must be resolved in one package. In any case it’s not excluded that the international recognition of the genocide will give the Armenians the opportunity to address to the court and demand the property of their ancestors, including real estate. I want to mention that the Genocide museum displays one part of the Armenian as well as the Turkish history. And the citizens of Turkey, who don’t want to be deceived, must come and witness the closed pages of their history. I am sure that one day the Turkish will have the courage to encounter their past. I any case they don’t have another choice.

The victory of Artsakh- is the victory of each one of us. In the end of the 20-th century, after centuries’ intermission we gained a real victory. It’s the victory of weapon, victory of spirit, which besides power and strength, belief and inflexible will, represents a perceptible acquisition- an independent homeland and native country. During 20 years we managed to keep our military achievements unbending. It’s also a great triumph, which once more affirms that independence is an irreversible fact. I wish new victories to the people of Artsakh and the Armenians all over the world.

On October 2-16 in all the military unities of the RA national army the competition «The best moto-infantry platoon» was conducted. Such a competition is conducted every year in the end of the education year’s summer phase. The best platoon is determined according to the programs of the RA AF military drill. During the competition the experience of leading methodologists on conducting military drill is being summarized, too.

Recently in the 4th Army Corpus tactical training with military firing has been conducted. According to the exercises scenario, one of the military units was brought to high military alertness, conducted a spurt and occupied the defensive line. The subunits conducted a defensive fight with a conditional enemy in the close touch conditions. In conditions, very close to military ones, a special attention was paid to the development of fire management skills of commanders of all levels.

Recently on the order of the RA AF General Staff’s Head in the training centre «Asparez» the competition of tanks and BMP crews has been conducted. The crews took exams on physical, technical, combatant drills, tactics and other subjects. After the theoretical exams all the crews fulfilled tasks on machine driving and military firing. During one of the tasks the crews, leading an unknown route, overcame the line of obstacles on military equipment.

According to military expert Artsroun Hovanesyan, from Libyan war we can make several conclusions:
1. Without USA participation NATO is not able to conduct full-scale military operations.
2. After the collapse of the Soviet Union the European countries to intensively disarm themselves. However after some time they would regret about that since the Eastern countries intensively arm themselves. The center of militarisation shifts from West to East.
3. Today no one from the powerful countries – USA, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Israel – is not willing to unite. Among these countries no military cooperation is noticed.
