At the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center, Arman, Avetis and all the other boys are united by the same fate. Each of them chose the homeland and their people over his own life and health, and without hesitation went into battle to defend the land and country.

Zangakatun village is on the border of the border and like other border settlements it lives between war and peace. Those who live on the border have a special love and reverence for the soldiers, the guarantors of their peaceful life, ensuring their security.

THE TOUGH GUYS

There are those units whose training takes into consideration the adverse weather conditions. The Special Forces crews waited for the cold winter days before climbing the mountaines in low visibility and subzero temperatures. The warm winter weather is not to their liking.

THE DEFENDERS OF THE LAND THAT SMELLS LIKE LAVASH

We are in the southwestern border of the republic, in the frontier section of the military unit under the command of LT Col Harutyun Nalbandyan. Just a few years ago, there were short position combats. In some areas, the enemy attempted to conduct position-strengthening engineering works, but the Armenian forces derailed those plans.

STANDING READY TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR TASKS

The drill alarm roars sounds in the unit. A few seconds later, the troops stand in line. Tactical trainings are under way: the goal is to improve the skills of the personnel.
