“HAY ZINVOR” NEWSPAPER’S CORRESPONDENT – INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION’S LAUREATE

On the decision of CIS Defense Ministers Council of June 5, 2013, the results of the 2nd international competition “The best journalistic work” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of CIS DMC.
RA MoD “Hay Zinvor” (Armenian Soldier) official newspaper’s special correspondent Lt.Colonel Aram NERSISYAN was awarded with CIS DMS letter of honour and 2nd level diploma, which were sent to Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan by Council’s Secretary A.Sinayskiy.

SOLDIERS' SUCCESS

The completed educational stage for the motorized rifle regiment under the command of Colonel K.Serobyan was rather successful. Sub-units fully fulfilled theoretical and practical trainings, camping, tactical trainings. The regiment’s command emphasizes that artillerists as well as sub-units of rifle and armoured technical battalions showed high results in shooting, tactics, tactical-professional preparation.

TANK BATTALION

Conducting under the command of Lt.Colonel A.Gasparyan staff of the tank battalion is responsible for exploitation, maintaining, ensuring technical and combat service of powerful combat machinery of the regiment. If needed these machines would ensure enemy’s armoured machinery’s and live force’s shooting, reliable movement and defense of our sub-units. In the battalion they understand that for its successful fulfillment skillful specialists are needed. All the time theoretical and practical trainings are being conducted, the staff improves its professional skills.

JUNE 28 – MARTAKERT LIBERATION DAY

20 years ago these days Artsakh went through hard but heroic days. In the second half of June our volunteer forces, having successfully fulfilled combat tasks in the Nothern front, had already occupied some strategic heights and approached Martakert which was in prison almost a year.

On June 29 on the occasion of the Missing Liberation Warriors’ Memory Day Arm MoD and AF GF authorities, members of the Public Council by the Defense Minister, of the Governmental Commission on captives, hostages and missing persons, missing persons relatives, Artsakh war veterans and NGO representatives visited Yerabloor Pantheon, laid flowers and wreath on the memorial dedicated to the perished and missing liberation warriors of the Artsakh war, took part in holy ritual by RA AF spiritual head Father Vrtanes.

HEROES’ МEMORY WILL NOT FADE

Recently the Military training classroom of the school no. 163 of the 6th New Nork Massive was named after Yervand Karapetyan – Chuto who died heroically during Artsakh war and was rewarded posthumously with medals “For Braveery” and “For Liberation of Shoushi”. Hero’s mother – Rosa was honoured to open the classroom.

ARMY WILL BE COMPLETED WITH STRONG FELLOWS

The in turn spring call-up is on in the republic. Buses with recruits from Sisian, Akhuryan, Armavir, Hrazdan, Artashat, from Yerevan’s districts Arabkir and Shengavit enter the Central recruit station. The recruits are accepted by credentials committee of the recruit station headed by Lt. Colonel A.Avanesyan.
