Veteran of the Great Patriotic War Mekhak Avetisyan is the same age as the century; he will turn 100 in a few months.
It is difficult to talk about a man in the past, whose devotion to the Homeland and work was endless, who was a perfect example of an Armenian soldier, with his high human type, his professionalism, his belief.
Harutyun Stepanyan, Harut, as his relatives and close friends call him, was born in 1974. He was born on April 4 in Abovyan. She is from Syunik, her father is from Meghri, her mother is from Khndzoresk.
Contemporaries, knowing the Siamanto family closely, left touching memories of the poet’s mother. “This old-fashioned primitive woman,” Arshak Chopanyan remembers, “was a conceivable example of an honest Armenian woman, and especially an Armenian mother, who had all the qualities of our people, without having any flaws in her.”
