Today in our country, the army is the most organized, the most established structure. Now Azerbaijan has a new tactics, it discredits Armenia in front of the international community speaking about Armenia’s difficult economic situation, poverty, migration. However all know that on the issues of democracy and human rights protection Azerbaijan cannot be compared with Armenia, more over – with Karabakh. Armenia and Karabakh with all their shortcomings are thousand times closer to the model of democratic states than Azerbaijan, where Aliyev is a president till the end of his life, where there are political prisoners.
Senior Lieutenant Andranik Kocharyan is 23, he is the peer of independence. He is in service only 2 years but he has entrusted the duties of the company commander in one of the southern military units of the NKR Army of Defense. He has already managed to get medals “For military duty” and “For Valour”, out of turn was promoted to Senior Lieutenant. Strongholds under his command carry out combat duty at a distance of a few tens of meters from the enemy positions.
How many generations dreamed about independence, how many people put their heads in the name of this idea, how many brave Armenian warriors served in other armies and dreamed of their army, to give their knowledge, experience and courage to the service of their own army. Now this dream has fulfilled.
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked:
– Lord, if my brother sins against me, how many times should I forgive him?
Jesus answered:
– Not seven times, but 70 times seven.
After the independence of Armenia and the establishment of the army the types of troops of armed forces began to form, among them – the Signal Corps. In the difficult days of the Artsakh war Signal Department was created.
In 1992 when the course of military operations in the north of Artsakh dictated the need for major structural changes in the Self-Defense Forces, which implies changes also in the organization of communication, our signalers honorably fulfilled their tasks.
Regardless of what prompted the suicide of a soldier, the size of responsibility of the military unit’s authorities does not diminish, and after the completion of the internal investigation all commanders will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Those soldiers that are held in a criminal case will be prosecuted, and those who are accused of negligence in the line of duty, will be subjected to severe disciplinary action or to be relieved of their duties.
Our goal is to establish solidarity and friendship between the peoples of the region, evidence of that – the Armenian-Talysh friendship. Our natural allies are too sensitive to the Artsakh issue and their future steps in some measure plan in accordance with the preservation of the independence of Artsakh and its recognition.
