On July 13 Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen Robert Bradtke, Igor Popov and Jacque Faure.
On co-chairmen’s request the Minister introduced the current situation on the line of contact saying that recently tension has been increased and ceasefire regime violations have become frequent.
At last the issue of Stepanakert airport opening was resolved about which there were talks for 1,5 years. The official Baku assured the Minsk Group co-chairmen that it will not use force at civil crafts.
Summarizing their regional visit of July 11-13, the co-chairmen particularly said: “In connection with Stepanakert airport opening we got parties assurances that the issue will be discussed diplomatically and t will not be politicized”.
One of the important preconditions of reforms in RA Armed Forces is the presence of skillful command staff.
When the enemy arms and thinks that provoking war it can win with the help of mercenaries, in our army spirit and high preparation prevail which impossible to implement without important role of commanders.
In the 1st army corpus according to education plan commanders’ assembly was held.
After a few days the Armenian army will be replenished with the 14th graduation officers of the Military Institute after V.Sargsyan.
In 2011-2012 education year the Military Institute will give 250 graduates specialities of motorized infantry, artillery, tankist, engineer and scout.
Examination period lasts from July 11 to 23, after that a graduation ceremony, lottery to define the service place, presenting diplomas and Lieutenant’s shoulder straps and… good service, Armenian army officer!
