In the framework of mutual cooperation between the armed forces of the two Armenian republics board meeting under the RA Defense Minister was held in Stepanakert on July 20th which was conducted by RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.
The meeting was dedicated to the level of combat preparation and military discipline, existing problems and ways of their solution. RA AF GS Head Colonel General Youriy Khachaturov, NKR Army of Defense Commander Movses Hakobyan, commanding staff of both Armenian states, commanders of military units and regiments, their deputies etc. were present. The Minister in brief presented geopolitical and regional developments, emphasized the essentiality of raising the effectiveness of processes conducted in the defense sphere and their systematic improvement.

In the framework of mutual cooperation between the armed forces of the two Armenian republics commanders’ meeting was conducted from July 15-19 in the Army of Defense with regiments’ commanders and their deputies. The function was stipulated by the 2013 educational plan preparation of the Armed Forces and was aimed at verification and raising of commanders’ and their deputies’ preparation level, study advanced experience and implement it in everyday activities of troops.

The main practical task was military exercises with combat shooting, the final stage of which was conducted on July 18 in the shooting grounds “Tigranakert”. NKR Defense Minister, Army of Defense Commander Movses Hakobyan, RA AF GS Deputy Head Lieutenant General Haykaz Baghmanyan and some high-ranking officers were present.
The next day, on July 19 Defense Ministers of both states Seyran Ohanyan and Movses Hakobyan participated in the meeting for finalizing the results. It was stated that the commanders’ meeting as a whole served its aim.

Exact and timely information is very important for commanders, moreover when it is related to the enemy. In the availability of numerous modern means of communication the issue of their reliability and uninterruptedness becomes more important. In this case qualified specialists-signallers are needed. In this regard in the motorized infantry regiment of Colonel K.Serobyan everything is in order. The service is entrusted to experienced and high-level specialists.
