A few days ago RA President Serge Sargsyan replying to the question of a journalist about the Football Championship, said: “The word “rooting” I can use only when it comes to the Armenian team. In short, I root for the Armenian team”.
To love, it does not mean to view from the side. For S. Sargsyan it means immediate and direct participation, concernment and action followed after that. He can not be just an observer. He is in direct action, both in the battlefield and in state construction.
He speaks, criticizes, directs with surprising calm, and sometimes it seems as lack of determination.

Lt.Colonel Rafik Shahgeldyan from platoon commander was promoted to battalion commander. In 2006 his battalion was recognized as the best. Since April 2014 he is the Commander of the regiment – “Vardan Mamikonyan” order bearer. Awarded medals, certificates and letters of thanks.

From year to year in Armenia more emphasis on military-patriotic education is made. Various functions are being organized during which the young generation get acquainted with the history of their state, heroic past, culture, with spirit and advice of persons who devoted their lives and activities to the Homeland.

America spends a lot of money to each of its soldiers, we can’t compare. However the soldier’s strength is not in his beautiful boots, shining uniform or tasty food, but here! – and he points on his heart and head. – Here is the strength of our soldier!

The Ukrainian crisis offers the West an opportunity to create a new military alliance in the buffer zone between Europe and Russia. Ukraine is a “prelude” of the plan, diverting attention of Moscow from the steps of formation of a new military-political union. According to Western political scientists, the cornerstone of this alliance will be Poland.
