On August 6, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with representatives of the republican mass media in the administrative building of the RA MoD. Below are excerpts from his speech.

These days, when the enemy made several attempts to subversive activities and was severely punished, our nation – from Armenia and Diaspora – with their encouraging words stood as solid wall for the support of Armenian officers and soldiers. With this they showed – the army and the people are united. The best proof of this was unprecedented number of the visits to our Facebook page: 145 thousand visits, 856 comments.

Servicemen of the regiment under the command of Lt. Colonel S.Ghukasyan are very serious about their service. They are deeply aware that they are required not to relax, be careful and not to exclude the possibility of sabotage.
In recent days, due to engineering works in the strongholds the number of soldiers increased. Soldiers of engineering sapper company, after performing their daily tasks, are also involved in the alert.
