The motorized infantry military unit under the command of Colonel G.Tevosyan was awarded with Order “Battle Cross” of the first degree and is named after Army Commander Vazgen Sargsyan. According to 2013 education year’s showings, it was recognized the best for the third time and took the main prize – Banner of Honour – forever.

Major Khoren Mkrtchyan is heading the mortar division of the regiment under the command of Lt.Colonel S.Minasyan. Siblings Arthur and Karen Grigoryans serve in different regiments. 9 months haven’t seen each other. Recently they have met. On the occasion of the women’s month Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan made a surprise to their mother – Mrs.Gayaneh, giving a promotional holiday to her sons. I also decided to go and participate in their joy.
