Artsakhian has an aspiration for ensuring his wellbeing. Freedom of entrepreneurship allows people to establish, create, to have everything which is essential to the family and state. Agriculture has been and remains the primary sphere of the economy of our country. In front of our eyes the country develops, new houses, quarters, hotels, schools, culture-houses are being built. Production and trade also develop. We – Artsakhians more and more feel the taste of freedom and independence, importance of democracy.

In the framework of cooperation between the Defense Ministry and American University of Armenia 1st Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan met with AUA President Bruce Bogosyan and Social Department Head of the Government Astghik Mirzakhanyan.

(Русский) In the framework of the Defense Minister’s 2010 message “Commander – soldier’s elder friend” functions on the day of ensuring security during military service were conducted in the regiments. Methodological documents were sent to the commanders as a methodological support.

The 5th annual international show “DigiTech” was organized by Mkhitar Sebastatsi educational complex on the support of the Education & Science Ministry on the theme “The use of innovative methods and resolutions, IT and instruments in the educational system”.

During Artsakh war the desire of the Armenian fighters was to have armoured vehicles in necessary quantity. The only source to acquire them was the enemy’s army. Armenians either confiscated vehicles or shot them, afterwards fixed them and used.
And now, 20 years after the war the armoured troops are the most powerful arms in the Army of Defense of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

On January 31st Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received servicemen Aram Avagyan and Narek Abgaryan, silver and bronze medalists of Europe championship of Boxing. The Minister rewarded them with departmental medals.

On January 28th in the Officers’ House of Greece, Athens a reception was held on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of RA AF formation. 300 guests were present, among them Head of Greece National Army of Defense General Staff General Michael Kostaracos and other high-ranking servicemen.
During the function some Greece officers were rewarded with RA AF jubilee medals who have their own share in Armenian-Greek military cooperation.
