The gradual lifting of sanctions against Iran naturally implies an increase in cooperation between Iran and the West in various fields, including energy. In this regard, Armenia, as the likely transit country for Iranian energy, may increase the scope for Iranian interests in relation to itself. Perhaps work on some bilateral projects will become more active, the terms for the projects Iran-Armenia railway and the North-South highway will be shortened and specified, the project of oil refinery construction on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, near the border of Iran may again enter on the agenda.

With Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Iran “ice” in the relations between the two countries did not melt. However, the Iranians reacted to the visit, with their diplomatic subtle humor. For example, the most read newspaper in Iran “Shahrvand” on its front page put Erdogan’s photo labeled “Ottoman Don Quixote in Tehran”, alluding to his pan-Turkic claim.

Now, when the resolution of the nuclear issue of Iran is near, and Tehran will be able to conduct more at ease regional policy, Turkey and Saudi Arabia became very concerned, who are not ready to accept the new possible role of Iran.

The visit of President Serzh Sargsyan to China was quite eventful in terms of meetings, the signed documents, and in terms of making Armenia recognizable in Asia.
With this visit the Armenian-Chinese relations have been put on a new level of strategic partnership. We can say that this visit is our major foreign policy achievement of recent times.

In my interview with the National Television of Talyshistan, and in some of other interviews called NTT a new stage in the struggle of the Talysh National Movement for independence of Talyshistan. Four months after the beginning of the broadcasting, I can add one thing: NTT is also a new stage in the struggle of all the indigenous peoples of Transcaucasia for independence! Because the NTT is a role model event also in terms of the consolidation of all the indigenous peoples of the Caucasus in their struggle. Talysh National Movement, since 2003, has actively been working towards unification of these peoples. We have repeatedly written about this, and appealed to the leaders of all these nations through mass media to unite in a common front. For us, it was always clear that only together we can achieve freedom. Armenian people of Karabakh, having gained its independence already, has launched major regional projects to support the struggle of other friendly peoples of the region. This is more than an important and laudable initiative.
