ARMENIANS IN TURKEY ARE ANKARA’S HOSTAGES

The closer 2015, the more activated Turkish vector of propaganda. More projects of Armenian-Turkish civil society emerge – culturologists exchange, educational, youth programs – proving the Turkish thesis that despite the lack of communication between Yerevan and Ankara, there are no problems between Armenian and Turkish people, and they communicate. A false imagination of rapprochement and cooperation creates. Erdoghan’s letter shows that Ankara plans few steps and would try to forward in a different direction the expected discourse of 2015.

"UNACCEPTABLE INDIFFERENCE”

Recently the book of Israeli scientist, historian, Sorbonne University Doctor, Professor of Israel Open University Yair Auron “Unacceptable indifference” had been presented to the Armenian book-readers. The author tries to find out the attitude of Jews towards the mass extermination of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. In the book he tries to recreate on scientific basis the historical truth about tragic events of a century ago with the greatest accuracy.

KESAB REVEALED THE FACE OF ANKARA

Towards the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Turkey again showed its real, Armenophobic face, this time in Syria. Using the extremely tense situation around Ukraine, Ankara tried to force its own settlement of the Syrian conflict, as well as deal a serious blow to the Syrian Armenians.

LEZGHINS: CHERISHED IDENTITY

At the Brussels forum devoted to the conflicts in South Caucasus (See “Hay Zinvor ” # 7 , page 15),Talysh political figures raised the question of full independence of Talyshstan, considering that the requirement of autonomy within the Republic of Azerbaijan is no longer relevant… Discussion organized by the European Parliament reiterated that Talysh movement can play the role of a “locomotive” for other indigenous peoples living in Azerbaijan.

almost in all the post-Soviet countries more or less authoritarian regimes have been established, since there are no democratic traditions. Georgia (if we exclude Baltic states) during Michael Sahakashvili’s reign got the role of a leader in case of development. It appeared that Georgia has become the stronghold of democracy, got huge resources. Everything was formidable in the lower level – corruption, local authorities’ self-will were eliminated, however in-depth changes didn’t take place. Law enforcement agencies turned into a punitive body.

THE LACK OF THE NATIONAL IDENTITY

On February 19th a joint forum of International Organization of Unrepresented Nations and Talish National Movement was held in Еuropean Parliament (Brussels) which was dedicated to the issues on establishing peace in the Caucasus, particularly, problems of the national minorities, first of all Talish people whom were given 2 from total 6 reports.
Leader of Talish National Movement, Talish-Mugan Republic’s President Alakram Gummatzoda (more known as Colonel Gumbatov who recently had visited Armenia and Artsakh(Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) gave the main speech. The second speech was given by Talish Movement’s member, political analyst Mrs Farziya Lankony (Kerimova).

AZERBAIJANI MARCH

Book of Ara Marjanyan (candidate of technical sciences, UN national expert) “Social-Economic System of Azerbaijan Republic” has been published recently. This is the logical continuation of his previous book “Virtual Demography of Azerbaijan Republic”.
The book dwells upon Azerbaijan’s petrol sector, main macroeconomic rates, state budget, external trade and military expenses. 80 diagrams and Wikileaks publications on Azerbaijan are also presented.
